Beautiful Prayer By Sisters of Life Will Cast Away So Many Anxieties.
This prayer, written by Sr. Faustina Maria Pia of Sisters of Life, has helped me get through some rough times that were also hardened by my own anxieties. Often times in the face of stress, I tend to lash out at myself with negative thoughts. I keep on forgetting that it’s not me who’s in control, but God himself. My pride and ego creeps into the moment, but the Litany of Trust always humble me and allow myself to give God back the authority of control. I thank God she has given us such wonderful nuns who have shared this prayer to us.
LITANY OF TRUST
From the belief that
I have to earn Your love
Deliver me, Jesus.
From the fear that I am unlovable
Deliver me, Jesus.
From the false security
that I have what it takes
Deliver me, Jesus.
From the fear that trusting You
will leave me more destitute
Deliver me, Jesus.
From all suspicion of
Your words and promises

From the rebellion against
childlike dependency on You

From refusals and reluctances
in accepting Your will
